Annie and Ian are a unique comedy / entertainer duo. Our acts / shows are very visual as we have many costume changes as well as a complete portable stage set. During our respective careers, we have worked both in variety; performing in cabaret for example, as well as actors working in theatre and TV. We combine all our skills into the acts and shows that we produce, to give a full variety and exciting show for all age groups. All our acts / shows are designed for hotels, holiday centres, corporate events etc and are suitable for all age groups.
Annie started her career as a dancer and has worked at some rather famous venues including The London Palladium. She spent much of her early career touring the British Isles which brought her into many local communities around the country.For the past 5 years she has produced and directed several one-off projects as well as running AMA Events, a company delivering entertainment to various groups such as care homes, children’s parties and special needs groups. As a performer, her TV appearances include Blue Peter and the Generation Game where the contestants had to learn one of her dance routines. For the past two years Annie has played the lead in pantomime, playing Aladdin in 2016 and Jack in Jack and the Beanstalk in 2017.Annie is a member of Equity.
Ian grew up in Blackpool surrounded by all forms of entertainment. Over the years Ian has worked at many of the resorts hotel venues performing cabaret acts as well as appearing at the Opera House and the Grand Theatre where he also co-directed a production of Kes. Ian trained to become an actor at Middlesex University in London in the early eighties. His studies also included lighting design, sound production, set design and construction and costume design. In a career spanning over 30 years, Ian has worked on a wide range of projects such as playing Macbeth for the English Shakespeare Company, Sir Henry in a European theatre tour of The Picture of Dorian Grey, Postman Pat in the national theatre tour, and countless cabaret and variety shows. Ian’s TV credits include Brookside, Emmerdale, Room at the Bottom and Kingdom. Ian has also several directing credits which include Romeo and Juliet for Shakespeare 4 Kidz and A Mid-Summer Night’s Dream for Spin Off Theatre. Ian is a member of Equity.
