About EntsWeb

Online since 1997

entsweb logo EntsWeb is a long established directory of entertainment, musicians and event management services and companies.  Brought to the web in 1997 and getting its own domain (entsweb.co.uk) in 1998, we are one of the UK's earliest website success stories.

EntsWeb was set up by Alan Best, a professional musician and partner in both an entertainment agency and an events management company.  The aim was (and is) to bring people together in a mutually beneficial way. If someone needs an event or entertainment service and someone else is offering that service, EntsWeb offers a point of contact.

Nothing like this was evident on the web back in 1997 and the enterprise  soon grew from a part-time fun project to a full blown business that has been copied many times.

The EntsWeb business model is designed not only to make it easy to find the right entertainment and event services but to also help people, in the industry, to succeed. We are not looking to make a pot of gold which is why we offer as many free services as we possibly can.

In line with this business paradigm we have, over the years, been feeding profits back into the industry by giving financial support to many different live events. These projects have ranged from village shows and large festivals to an industry conference and a floating theatre.

The EntsWeb site is formatted as a directory allowing you to quickly 'drill down' to the exact information you need.  You have free and direct access to thousands of bands, musicians, entertainment companies, entertainers and event service providers plus everything else that is important to entertainment and events.  From fun casino operators to temporary toilets - it's all here. As an additional aid to navigation, a versatile internal search engine helps you to precisely pinpoint information.

EntsWeb gives you free access to an online, entertainment industry resource that covers all aspects of entertainment, music and live event management.  It is aimed squarely at entertainment, wedding and event organisers and gives suppliers, performers and entertainment professionals a place to showcase their talents and services.  The directory content is rigorously controlled and highly focused on our targeted subjects to ensure you will always be presented with the correct type of information.

Besides this wealth of collated information, EntsWeb offers a free to use and highly popular  Jobs & Auditions section where you can advertise or find entertainment and leisure related jobs and auditions.

In addition to all of this, the EntsWeb site offers a place for learning. Help, advice and training can be found in the Master Class area in the form of articles and videos. These cover a range of subjects that are being added to on a regular basis.

We love feedback and encourage you to send in your suggestions for future Master Classes or your ideas for new directory content.  Perhaps you have specialist knowledge that you would like to share with others, in which case we would be happy to publish your article for you. Please contact us.

You can keep up to date with what's happening at EntsWeb and in the industry at large by subscribing to the EntsWeb newsletter. It's not a regular publication, we only write when there is something relevant and informative to say or if we have something special to tell you about.  We believe there's is little point committing a regular schedule if it means filling a newsletter with hot air and waffle just to meet a weekly or monthly deadline. To register for the newsletter, look for the grey box on this and other pages.

Last but not least, we are flooded with press and news releases. We pick the best and add them to the EntsWeb news section. The news stories can be accessed from the home page where you will find excerpts from the all latest news with links to the full story.
