Scouting For Girls, The Wurzels & Hothouse Flowers to Play Little Orchard Cider & Music Festival

Little Orchard Cider & Music Festival has announced further headline acts set to take to the main stage including pop rockers Scouting For Girls and Ireland’s very own Hothouse Flowers. Following last year’s sell-out success, the three-day fiesta of live music and cider will pop-up in the beautiful grounds of Healey’s Cyder Farm on Friday 8th - Sunday 10 th September 2017. Little Orchard Cider & Music Festival will also play host to cider loving four-piece The Wurzels and many more exciting acts.

Having sold over two million records, secured four Top 10 singles and racked up 4 Brit Award nominations, British pop band Scouting For Girls will headline the main stage on Saturday 9 th September. Famed for their chart topping single ‘She’s So Lovely’, the West London trio have developed in to one of the best live acts around.

Glastonbury veterans and arguably the perfect fit for a cider party in the southwest, The Wurzels are sure to kick-start Little Orchard Cider & Music Festival in style when they take to the main stage on Friday 8 th September. Having enjoyed national success with number one hit ‘ The Combine Harvester’, the Scrumpy and Western band are sure to deliver a performance of old favourites and new hits.

Headlining on Friday 8 th September and joining The Wurzels onstage is Irish rock group Hothouse Flowers. Having played venues across the UK, Europe, US and Japan, their unpredictable energy allows them to deliver unique shows that are always steered by the vibeof the crowd. Hailing from Monkstown in Dublin, Hothouse Flowers draw influences from soul, folk, gospel and Celtic rock.

Festival organiser Ben Hall comments: “We can't wait to welcome this year’s headliners to the main stage of Little Orchard Cider & Music Festival. It's great to see the event grow and have the opportunity to welcome bigger acts. This year marks the fifth year of the festival and we have a feeling it’s going to be one to remember.”

Welcoming back the BBC Introducing Stage, Little Orchard Cider & Music Festival will showcase Cornwall’s freshest talent with a string of live performances from the region’s rising stars. This year’s lineup is set be the biggest yet with acts still to be revealed.

Festival guests are also encouraged to look out for the Silent Disco, Comedy Hours, Little Orchard Feast Village, Secret Cider Walks, Vintage Fun Fair and Yoga Sessions.

Tier 1 Weekend Camping Tickets are currently on sale priced at £65 (plus £2.50 booking fee). Little Orchard Cider & Music Festival operates a tiered ticket system with prices changing over time. An allocation of tickets is reserved for each tier, this will close when the allocation of tickets is sold out. Entry is free for under 14’s however advance tickets incur a £1.50 booking fee.
