Activity Manager on board Emerald Cruise

About

Role Objective
As activity manager you will be responsible to enhance our guests cruise enjoyment by providing a wide range of day and evening activities onboard our vessels and assist with the daily program onboard.

Main Tasks
Planning and execution of all daytime activities onboard (e.g. mini golf, daytime trivias, line dancing)
Responsible for guests light entertainment evening activities (e.g. game shows, trivias, karaoke etc.)
Presentation and running of evening disco and background music sets (recorded)
Cabarets or other performance skills desired (e.g. singer, musician)
Assist Cruise Director as requested
Join and assist and/or provide EmeraldActive tours (hikes, bike tours etc.) as required
Provide offboard activities for passengers (e.g pub crawl, port visit, etc.)
Assist in planning individual guest requests (e.g. make appointments, etc.)


Required Skills/Qualifications
previous ocean ship or hotel experience in the (light) entertainment sector (e.g. entertainment host, presenter, entertainment officer, animator etc.)
fluent English language skills a must (other languages a plus but not required)
minimum age 21
Advanced presentation/public speaking skills
People person with strong interpersonal skills


Job Details
Single occupancy cabin will be provided
Paid holidays during the season
All travel expenses to/from ship covered
