We are the Staffin Island Ceilidh Band, a five person ensemble with a dedicated caller. We are based in Central Scotland but will jump at the chance to travel overseas. We offer an alternative Ceilidh Band setup with 2 harmonising fiddles, acoustic guitar, Drum kit and Bass. Various band members also on vocals, mandolin, banjo, occasionally keyboard and tambourine.

We specialise in tailoring our music to suit your event. With over 30 cover songs, many tuneful arrangements, and a mix of 18 traditional and less conventional dances at our disposal, we provide a lively, exciting night of entertainment for all audiences.

Our caller Chris is particularly good at convincing the comfiest audience members to get up out of their seat and onto the dance floor.

We tend to hold our own ceilidhs twice a year in Dundee, during the summer and winter months. This gives you a chance to try us out before choosing to book us.

All of our equiptment is PAT tested and we have accident liability insurance. We offer a tasteful trad playlist for you to play during breaks from music and dancing.
