Here at South Downs we provide full professional entertainment for the 50+ age group. To be part of the entertainments team you need to have dedication, drive and passion for entertaining as well as being honest and very hard working.
We will push you to your limit and help you grow as an entertainer, whilst you help to put together our own unique in-house productions shows, of which we have 4 a week, of which some are backed by our live resident 4 piece band, as well as Panto over the 'Christmas Cracker' season. As well as develop your own cabaret slot.

You will also be required to perform all other duties as required by a 'Coat Style' entertainer on a holiday park, which will include day time duties i.e organizing games like Bowls etc for the guests.

You will have a contract for 11 months to start with, which can be extended of which there will be a probationary period of 12 weeks, and will work 39 hours a week. For this you will be paid the national minimum wage, you will also be provided with a single room private chalet with private facilities, a 'common room' exclusively for the entertainments team where you are able to cook and socialize with the other team members. You can also take advantage of our staff canteen where you are able to purchase your meals.

You will be required to work over all festive holidays, however you will be able to have a couple of days break just before Christmas as we close for a couple of days before re-opening for the Christmas season.

You will be entitled to 4 weeks paid holiday, as well as Lieu days for any bank holidays worked (subject to probationary period being met).
