Nu Soul Generation are formed from a collective of professional Soul musicians, each with many years' band and performance experience behind them. Masters of their instruments, and bringing a fresh feel to the tried and tested covers of classic Soul and Disco songs, the tight rhythm and horn section explodes into a scintillating floor-filling frenzy from the very outset of the opening musical bars.
Founder, and Lead vocalist, Judy Duff, has worked with esteemed UK soul and contemporary music artists, and is still a sought after session singer, working recently with such artists as Jimmy James and the Vagabonds and Martha Reeves of the Vandellas fame. Delivering a powerful stage and vocal mix ensures your event is a complete success. As musicians, Artists we have performed with include such names as Edwin Starr, Ruby Turner, Beverly Knight, Lamar, Heatwave, to name but a few.
Our repertoire consists primarily of classic and contemporary soul music, Tamla Motown, Stax and funk covers.
