Floating Pontoon Hire is a subsidiary of Solent Rib Charter, Europe’s largest operator of ‘Rib’ motor boats. We are an official supplier to the Royal Navy, Royal Yachting Association, Volvo Ocean Race, Americas Cup, and Clipper Ventures.

Our wealth of experience with marine operations gives us the practical as well as technical know-how to construct a perfect interface of boats and pontoon facilities both at sea and inland.

Our Pontoon system is ideal for public events where thousands of people may be expected to use the pontoon as a temporary bridge. It's also perfect for a boat show or maritime festival. Most of our public events, despite what you might expect, take place on lakes or rivers.

Our Pontoon Hire system also works great for the survey and repair of bridges, harbour walls, locks, and river banks. We can also improvise in any situation for which a safe working platform, walkway, jetty, ramp, or slipway is required.
