They combine the hard driving Rock n Roll with some gentle ballads mixed in with some fine Instrumentals, an overall great and exciting band to experience.

Formed in April 2012 by Jeff Tuck and feature members of his previous band The Flames and The Stingrays with over 35 years experience behind them and a wealth of original 50's/60's artistes they have backed over the years which include; Wee Willie Harris, Charlie Gracie, Mike Berry, Craig Douglas, John Leyton, Jet Harris, Tommy Bruce to name but a few.

Shindig started their musical encounter by starring in the hit musical ‘Bobby Socks & Blue Jeans' featuring Kytsun Wolfe as the front man to a host of different guises (Billy J Kramer, Billy Fury, Cliff Richard, Elvis,) together with three fine female vocalist to the likes of Connie Francis, Brenda Lee, Cilla Black and which feature clarinet solo to the sound of Acker Bilk's ‘Stranger on the Shore'. The show has been a great success so far and many more are to be announced later in the year.

Shindig have also done a short tour of Holland and Finland this year and have been received very well and will be back in the near future, dates to be confirmed! Shindig has also completed their debut CD entitled ‘Introducing Shindig', a fine example of early British pre Beatles Rock n'Roll which has received rave reviews. (see Sep issue of ‘Maggie's Blue Suede News'). The CD contains 14 tracks, five of which are self composed numbers from the band members, three instrumentals and the rest rockin' vocal numbers and are now looking to prepare for their next CD venture! Shindig are available for most events including: Rock n Roll weekenders, Private Parties, Weddings, Corporate functions, ferry cruises etc.
