Acknowledging the rise of the “Tribute Scene” we decided to go about putting a Band together.

We are a 5/6 piece band of experienced musicians, working from Glasgow, Scotland and paying tribute to the music of Chrissie Hynde & The Pretenders.

Chrissie Hynde is one of the most iconic women in rock history... with a varied back catalogue, distinctive look and unmistakeable contralto vocals!

Talk of the Town boast an original “Pretender” in Rupert Black, who was the original keyboard player with The Pretenders. Rupert recorded, played with Chrissie on two World Tours and played “Live Aid” in 1985 at The JFK Stadium in Philadelphia!

As the UKs only Tribute to the music of The Pretenders, and with Chrissie Hynde back in vogue, we are continuing to enjoy a real interest in the Band.
