About

Stoneyport Agency began as a one-man entertainments agency in 1986 specialising in what was then simply called 'folk music' and dealing primarily on behalf Scottish performers.

By about 2006 there were about 5 or 6 people working under the umbrella of Stoneyport. Some of these folk were working for themselves and using Stoneyport's database and name to make contact with 'the world'.

The name of the business was changed in 2006 to Stoneyport Associates to better reflect the developing structure of the business.

Since then several other folk have joined us as associates.
