Tim Vine prepares to Shake with Laughter at the Comedy Store
Tim
Vine will bring his special brand of humour to the Comedy Store, London on
October 16, for another sell out Shake with Laughter evening, in aid of
Parkinson’s UK.
The
Shake with Laughter comedy night, which has now spread to Manchester, Newcastle
and Glasgow, is the brainchild of Edinburgh Festival favourite Rob Deering, who
will MC the evening. Rob’s father has lived with Parkinson’s, an
incurable neurological condition, for several years.
Tim Vine said,
“When my mate Rob Deering asked me to take part in Shake with Laughter this
year, I didn’t need much persuasion. I’ve seen how popular the Shake with
Laughter comedy nights have become, and the impressive amounts of money they
have raised for Parkinson’s UK to support people with Parkinson’s, like Rob’s
dad. Who wouldn’t want to be part of that?”
The other
confirmed acts are John Moloney, Lucy Porter, Princes of Main and Gary
Delaney. Vicar of Dibley scriptwriter Paul Mayhew-Archer, who lives with
Parkinson’s, will also take the stage.
Tickets are available via the Comedy Store at
