Yorkshire’s soul songstress Emma King has shared a new cover
mash-up, featuring Leonard Cohen/Jeff Buckley’s ‘Hallelujah’ and ‘Everybody
Hurts’ by REM. Accompanied by simple, elegant piano Emma puts her signature
smooth vocals at the forefront in this beautiful twist of chart toppers.
Emma recently released her debut eponymous album, garnering
fantastic reviews. Blues Magazine described her as a ‘gifted singer and
performer’, and FATEA remarked on her ‘sharp powerful voice, soulful and
beautiful – King truly has it all’.
Over the last few weeks Emma has been travelling all over
the UK touring the new album and calling into local radio stations for
interviews and liver performances. While on the road she has also been stopping
